In my multidisciplinary practice, I work with materials and situations that are characterized by an ambivalence of alienation and everydayness. Interwoven with performative, filmic and sculptural stagings, I explore hybrid states of bodies and objects in the field of tension between nature and culture. Drawing is a central component of my process and marks the outlines of certain mental images, which then manifest themselves as fragments in sculptural objects and stagings.

In embodiments of otherworldly figures and constructed images composed of outlines of a cultural everydayness and an alienated wilderness, I seek as a performative figure within my productions to outline the conditions of appearance, whereby disappearance plays just as important a role, with my sculptural props showing themselves as defining shells and as the only witnesses of an event or a presence. I understand performance as a way of marking transitions that are located between body and image, figure and voice.

My music, which mainly consists of the production of pop music, is often a component of my works, in which I move on the border between concert and performance. The combination of sculptural-performative processes with specially composed pop music inscribes itself as an emotional and ritual voice. This creates a field for me in which body, object, sound and landscape overlap in an idiosyncratic way - between sensuality, disturbance and poetic approach.
